At Zumo Zest we are committed to supplying safe and legal products that meet our customer’s needs. A strong management team lead the internal Food Safety control system which is based on recognised standards within the food industry, and has HACCP as a food safety system at its core.

Our hands on approach ensures that the citrus fruit and resulting products are checked at every stage of processing , from raw material sorting through to metal detection & refrigerated storage. Whole fruit is routinely tested for pesticide residue levels, whilst end products are randomly selected for microbiological analysis.

Production staff carry out both product processing and cleaning duty schedules to a high standard. 100% of Staff under go internal and external food safety training on a routine basis.

The site is annually inspected and certified by the Soil Association organic standards, allowing organic citrus fruit to be processed within the facility.
