F.A. Young Farm Produce Ltd, trading as Zumo Zest, near Bath, Somerset, manufactures raw fruit ingredients & is committed to producing citrus zests, pulps, & juices for their customers based in the UK.
Alongside the Soil Association organic standards Certificate of Registration, & under the direction of the Managing Director, our organisation has established the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 to promote a culture of quality assurance for the company’s systems & processes.
Our main Quality Objective is to continually strive to deliver 100% client satisfaction. We do this by ensuring we communicate with our customers to understand their needs & provide good quality products at a competitive price, specific to their requirements. In the provision of our products, we also satisfy any legal and regulatory obligations, supplying customers in an honest & efficient manner, with safe wholesome ingredients which conform to their documented specification.
The Managing Director provides all the necessary resources & communication (Quality Policy on display) to enable staff to carry out their roles in a professional, collaborative, & skilful manner, within a safe environment. Staff are trained & encouraged to work competently, with the willingness to immerse themselves in the organisation’s knowledge, culture, & forward progression, taking opportunities to develop themselves & others, as appropriate.
The status of the company depends on its excellent application towards Good Working Practices & recognised Food Safety Standards in line with Codex Alimentarius General Principles. The Food Safety Control System has HACCP principles at its core, which is reviewed and updated, as necessary.
The management of our Supply Chain involves regular evaluation of detailed criteria to ensure service providers can meet our demands enabling us to continue to provide quality products to our customers.
As an organisation, we are always looking at how we can do things better & as part of our commitment for continual improvement ensuring the business remains a profitable operation, obtaining customer feedback & retention is essential to understanding how we can do this.
